Scandinavian Premiere of The Hunchback of Notre Dame!
A crazy couple of weeks are coming to an end. Friday the 14th was the scandinavian premiere of Fredericia Theaters production of Disneys KLOKKEREN FRA NOTRE DAME – The Musical (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). The musical has been very well received. 23 six star reviews and the show is selling like the Rolling Stones. It is truly awe inspiring to work with so many talented people everyday!
You can visit the website I made for the production here.
Søren Malmose shot some amazing photos of the show some of which you can see here.
FileMaker DevCon Scandinavia 2016
I also visited the FileMaker DevCon Scandinavia 2016 in Helsingør. Although crazy busy with work stuff I learned some quite amazing things that I will be able to use in upcoming FileMaker solutions and blog posts. Most are still under NDA but some of the biggest take aways were simple, yet for me new, ways to structure and design databases.
Last thursday Fredericia Theatre held an audition for three of our upcoming productions (Disneys THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME – The Musical, The Trouble with Dough and Legendale). One of the challenges with this particular audition was the fact that the director were situated in USA while the audition were held in Denmark. I made a pretty simple FileMaker solution that not only were used to keep track of all applicants but also recorded each audition directly into Filemaker and uploaded them near realtime. I still have a few kinks to work out, but this particular FileMaker solution shows a lot of promise. It again shows that FileMaker is a powerful tool with a lot of practical application.
A few years ago I was teaching myself to do the motion tracking effect I saw in the TV-Series “Fringe“. Forgot all about it, definitely got to revisit Apples Motion (AppStore) very soon.
Took the kids to see their mother dressage horse riding at Hedensted Rideklub. It was the first competition for the horse and the first in ten years for Benedikte.
I snapped a few photos:

Tried to figure out how I could use the most notes available on my daughters old baby toy to play a melody.
Yesterday was the last performance of Fredericia Teaters production of “A midsummer Nights STEAM”. Today and tomorrow is a little hectic, Saturday: Vacation!
Facebook just reminded me of this video I posted two years ago. Unfortunately I haven’t really found time to play at all since I found my old piano in the basement. Hopefully soon…
A page on the theatre website for Fredericia/London Lizzie musical was the last task on today’s todo-list. Now an Episode of Silicon Valley and then bedtime… A lot of meetings tomorrow.
One of my absolute favorite RSS feeds is “Reasons my son is crying” (RSS). Today the reason MY son
was crying? His mother washed his bedsheets…
Like so many other things, the first blogpost is always the hardest. So I will make it short. What can you expect from this blog? Nothing really, it is just a container for sharing some of my thoughts and ideas. You will probably see posts about my work, my family and my interest. Some of the categories I plan to visit will be: GTD / OmniFocus Social Media Music Photo- and Videography WordPress and FileMaker development And now… on to the second blogpost!
